Steal her Festival Style: Lauren Conrad Coachella

Coachella finished up about a week ago and now all anyone can talk about is Splendour in the Grass. Like Coachella, Splendour is a three day festival full of music, drinking, food and art. So what’s the most important thing, besides from purchasing a ticket? That’s right, what to wear. I have chosen to take three looks from Lauren Conrad’s Coachella style that you could emulate and all for a very reasonable price!

“We all get dressed for Bill” -Anna Wintour

If you love fashion and New York City then this is a movie you cannot miss.

Bill Cunningham New York, is a documentary about legendary New York Times photo journalist, Bill Cunningham. For decades Bill has been photographing for the Times Style section in his columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours”. Bill photographs not just celebrities but anyone who has an eye for fashion from uptown fixtures like Anna Wintour, to the downtown eccentrics.

Bill has made a name for himself in the fashion world and if he takes a photo of you, then you know you must be doing something right. This film is like a day in the life, featuring interviews with big fashion icons, socialites, journalists and New York heavyweights [Brooke Astor, David Rockefeller,                                                                      Tom Wolfe and you can’t forget Anna Wintour].

This movie will impress anyone who loves fashion, so check out the trailer below and make sure you check it out!

In the mean time you can also check out Bill’s page on the New York Times website here.

Steal Her Style: Rachel Bilson

Take a leaf out of Rachel Bilson’s book for simple but stylish Spring looks.

Pair fresh turquoise tones with neutrals and bold prints for a look that will take you anywhere. Choose interchangeable accessories and you have more fashion for your dollar.

Change it up and pair the turquoise top with the grey skirt or the white top with the printed pants. These versatile pieces will last right through Spring and into Summer.

If the bold pants aren’t for you, change them for some grey peg-leg pants and maybe find a printed turquoise top to keep the look stylish.
